Privacy & Terms

How we handle your information and the terms that govern our work together. Last updated August 2026.

Information We Collect

When you request a consultation, sign a contract, or pay an invoice, we may collect your name, partner's name, email address, phone number, ceremony type and date, ceremony location, guest count, a brief description of your story, and how you found us. To process payments we receive transaction details from our payment provider; we never see or store your full card number.

How We Use Your Information

We use your details to schedule and prepare consultations, place tentative calendar holds, draft and execute service contracts, issue and reconcile invoices, communicate with you about your ceremony, and improve our services. We never sell your information.

Calendar & Scheduling

We connect to a shared calendar to show real-time availability and place tentative holds on your preferred consultation time. A hold is created when you submit a request and is confirmed or released when we respond. Your ceremony date is reserved only once a signed contract and deposit are in place.

Email Communications

We send you consultation acknowledgments, contract notifications, and invoice reminders by email. You may reply to any message to be removed from follow-up reminders; transactional messages related to an active contract or invoice will continue until that obligation is closed.

Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted platforms to operate: our website host and database (Base44), our payment processor (Wix Payments), email delivery, and Google Calendar for scheduling. Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and only as necessary to deliver the service you requested.

Data Retention

We keep your records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal or accounting obligations — typically the life of your contract plus a reasonable period for record-keeping. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from the Client Portal.

Your Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of the personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe and verify your identity before making changes.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission and restricted access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data using reasonable safeguards.

Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults arranging their own ceremonies. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of our services after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
